Learning Management System Selection Process - Phase 2

The EKU LMS committee is excited to share that, following an inclusive process of gathering community input and a Request for Proposal (RFP), we have shortlisted three potential Learning Management Systems (LMS). These selections, namely D2L Brightspace, Instructure Canvas, and Anthology Blackboard, have been chosen because they align most effectively with our academic objectives and institutional requirements.

 

To ensure that our university community gains a comprehensive understanding of each LMS and its capabilities, the LMS committee will establish sandbox environments and demonstration sessions for every platform with specific dates for both to follow soon. We warmly encourage all members of our community to take part and contribute their valuable insights. Your feedback will play a pivotal role in shaping our final decision-making process.

LMS Selection Process - Phase 2

EKU LMS committee is excited to announce that after collecting community input during the Spring of 2023 and launching an RFP in early June,  we have narrowed our choices to three potential Learning Management Systems (LMS) that best align with our academic goals and institutional needs. Selected platforms are D2L Brightspace, Instructure Canvas, and Anthology Blackboard. 

 

The LMS committee will set up sandbox environments for each platform to give the university community an in-depth understanding of each LMS and its functionalities. 

 

The demo sessions for each LMS are also in the works. 

 

The specific dates for the sandbox access and demo sessions are coming in the coming weeks. We encourage everyone to participate and provide their valuable feedback, which will be instrumental in our final decision-making process.
